New Year, new you?

First of all, Happy New Year and welcome to 2019!

First of all, Happy New Year and welcome to 2019!

It’s that time of year, the gyms are filling up, we’re all full of optimism for the year ahead and we’ve set out our very own fitness goals.

But reading through fitness posts filled with treadmills and weights in a sweaty gym doesn’t sound too appealing! But, did you know that swimming fires up more of the bodies major muscle groups than other forms of cardio exercise.* Allowing you to get a full body work out in the pool! No longer will you have to crowd into a packed, sweaty gym! Get in the water and feel the difference both mentally and physically, with swimming proven to improve mental health, for all ages.

According to a report in 2015 by the ASA (Amateur Swimming Association), 1 in 5 adults in the UK is unable to swim**. If you’re in this group, just know. It’s never too late! At Swimtime we have taught hundreds of adults how to swim, working with you at a pace that suits you.

We offer group and 1:1 sessions across the country!

Until next time, Happy Swimming!
