<h2>Learning to Swim</h2><h3>Swimming with&nbsp;Rocco Rockfish</h3><p>Rocco guides Swimtime swimmers through a 3 stage programme.</p><p>Did you know? – Rockfish dive deep during winter months. their favourite foods are shrimps, jellyfish and squid!</p>

Know how to prepare through warm up for physical activity. 

Be able to demonstrate independent entries and exits safely.

Be able to use Streamlining to refine body position in a push and glide action on front and back. 

Be able to demonstrate Surface Diving practices, submerging underwater.

Be able to demonstrate Butterfly leg action technique.

Know how to use Propulsion – alternating movement skills of arm and leg action on front crawl stroke.

Know how to use Propulsion – alternating movement skills of arm and leg action on back crawl stroke.

Know how to use Propulsion – simultaneous movement skills of arm and leg action on breast stroke.

Know how to use Start / Turns & Finish techniques in a variety of strokes in an aquatic environment.

Understand how to use side stroke techniques as part of Survival Skills.

Dependent upon venue facilities.
Understand how to use Diving practices for different aquatic environments.

Be able to demonstrate the use of equipment & Understand environment education & water safety in the aquatic learning environment.

 Know how to use Propulsion – simultaneous movement skills of arm and leg action on breast stroke.

Understand how to do Butterfly arm action technique.

Understand how to use lifesaving sidestroke and lifesaving backstroke techniques as part of Survival Skills.

Understand how to use a Straddle entry for different aquatic environments.

Understand how to use casualty recognition techniques as part of Rescue Skills.

Understand how to use land based rescue techniques as part of Rescue Skills.
